Wow! This wedding was incredible in so many ways. Johnny and Jayden are both incredible people and their families were so much fun to get to know. The day was full of laughter and happy tears all the way through.

As I sit and reflect on all the special moments from their day, one thing that comes to mind quickly is the strong focus on what a marriage is about and not just on the party. While the details are beautiful and the party is fun, it was evident that Johnny and Jayden know that their marriage is so much more than those things.

During the ceremony, the officiant made a point to talk about the days that marriage is not easy. That a Godly marriage is not an easy or perfect marriage, but a marriage in which the the couple focuses on God and what He desires for them. There will be times in marriage that one or both will become frustrated, feel challenged and overwhelmed, and possibly even want to give up. It’s in those moments they need to really stop and pray. They need to communicate and listen. They need a strong support system that will encourage them through the trials.

Brock and I are so incredibly happy for Johnny and Jayden. While we had fun laughing and celebrating right along with them, what we really loved is the genuine and honest message throughout their day. The message that their marriage would be one with God at the center.
