I was so excited when Eva first asked me if I’d consider doing her maternity photos! First because Eva is my cousin and I’m beyond honored that she would choose me to do them, but second, because I love being able to capture a new momma (and daddy) preparing for the next season of life. There’s something really special about capturing a couple together shortly before their family expands. You can see the love between these two in the way they talk to each other and the looks they share between photos. That love is only growing sweeter and bigger to include a new little one. I love watching a new momma-to-be as she watches her belly and feels the kicks of her baby.

On this night, we planned to head to my brother’s property where we could alternate indoor and outdoor locations if we needed. We were expecting a hot night, but thankfully enjoyed a nice breeze the entire time which allowed us to be outside more. We had so much fun walking around and catching up that it seemed like it was over too fast! We even had an entourage as a turkey followed us around showing off and posing the entire night. He definitely gave us some good laughs! I hope you enjoy taking a look through some of my favorites from the night.
