On a beautiful day in December, Brock and I drove to downtown Wichita to celebrate with David and Lauren.  One thing that made the day special to us, is that we celebrated our own wedding on this weekend in December thirteen years ago.  While it was great to have another couple join us in the winter wedding club, the really special part was that Lauren is actually a former student of mine.  I got the privilege to see her grow throughout her high school years and couldn’t be more thrilled or honored that she chose me to capture her wedding day as well!!  

If I could describe the feel of the day in just a couple of words, I would say it was full of love and friendship.  Friends and family were a part of the day from start to finish by helping whether it was by hanging lights, assembling the eclectic and vintage centerpieces, or making meal runs.  It was clear that David and Lauren were just happy to be celebrating their day and so grateful to everyone who helped them get there.
