When Brock and I walked into the Drury Plaza Hotel Broadview Wichita, we were immediately impressed by the beautiful and welcoming entry. The historic Broadview hotel was actually built in the 1920s and still retains many of its original features despite multiple renovations. The grand lobby and ballroom were the perfect setting for this summer wedding.
Tyrece and Shannon were both surrounded by family and friends as they prepared to join together as husband and wife. It’s always fun to see my couples surrounded and having a great time as they enjoy all of the preparations they’ve made for their big day. The laughter and happy tears are a great reminder that this day is about so much more than the details.
As you scroll through the images from their day, I hope you enjoy seeing the little moments that made this day so special. From Shannon’s grandfather praying over the couple, to the letter the kids read to Tyrece, the unity sand celebration that included the entire new family, and the couple jumping the broom to celebrate their new union as husband and wife. It was an absolute pleasure to be able to be a small part of this day and meet some incredibly kind and joyful new friends.
Congratulations Tyrece and Shannon!! We are so happy for you!!
