What a fun night this was!! First of all, let me just say how incredibly fun these two are. I don’t think I’ve laughed more at a session 🙂 Although it was a hot night, we made it through and had a great time. Even Alyssa’s sweet parents came along to watch all the fun.

We started in downtown Wichita at the US Courthouse. In my opinion, this is a great backdrop for clean, beautiful photos with a more urban feel. I love the clean stone, and beautiful steps! After we spent sometime downtown, we moved to Clifton Square where we chose to include one of the iconic murals in Wichita along with the Clifton Square gazebo.

As we got to know each other throughout the night, Tyler and Alyssa shared a bit more about themselves. Tyler is originally from the Springfield area, and Alyssa is from Wichita. Tyler now works for Dr. Pepper while Alyssa works as a behavioral teacher in Wichita USD 259. I always love talking with teachers as it is a profession near and dear to my heart as I taught for eight years prior to becoming a full time photographer. With the school year getting ready to start, we had a good time talking about preparations and the kids she would get to work with.

As you take a look through their photos, I hope you can see the genuine laughter these two must share all the time. I always love watching my couples make each other laugh because it is one of the best parts of marriage. When we find someone who makes us laugh, it helps us remember not to take everything too seriously and to enjoy life along the way.

I can’t wait to see these two again as the celebrate their marriage in the Spring!!
