How adorable are these two?! There are just some sessions that in the moment you think, “YES! This is gonna be a good one!!” Well, on this night we had gorgeous light, and beautiful locations selected. Although windy (it’s Kansas after all), everything was just beautiful from the weather to the locations and down to even Dan and Nicole’s outfits. We had so much fun and I walked away with WAY more photos than I needed! One thing about me is that when I say “Ok, one more”, it’s never just “one more”. Dan and Nicole were such good sports though and I think we managed to get some beautiful shots.

As we walked between locations, it was so fun getting to know more about Dan and Nicole. Both are engineers, but they work for different companies. Nicole was even telling me about how she is one of the few young, female engineers where she works. I love hearing about people who break the mold and do what they love even when it may not be the most popular or typical working environment! The longer I hung out with Dan and Nicole, the more it became clear that they are both very easy-going and kind-hearted people. They were so sweet with each other and there were lots of moments they got lost in the moment and just enjoyed being together. It was easy to see how much they love each other!

When we were about to move to our second main location and switch outfits, we came across a spot that was absolutely gorgeous and I was frequently asking for “one more”. 🙂 Nicole was all for it and Dan was such a good sport at humoring the two of us!! There was even a moment that I had a suggestion for a setting and both just said, “Sure, what’s the worst that can happen? If we get wet, we’re about to change anyway.” Those photos turned into some of the most STUNNING. I love when my couples trust me and just go with it. It almost always is worth it!

When we did finally switch locations, they asked if we could make a small stop at the house they are remodeling and include it in some of their photos. My answer was an immediate YES. As beautiful as all of their pictures are, the best photos are the ones that are unique and personal to the couple. I hope you enjoy looking through Dan and Nicole’s session.
