On the morning of this shoot, the rain let loose and were all nervously watching the radar to see if it would clear up for the evening. Thankfully it did and we were able to get some beautiful sunset photos. Although it was a hot night, it was full of sunshine and laughter. I had the pleasure of teaching Valerie during high school, but it was so fun to catch up with her and get to know Rayce.
Valerie and Rayce met through mutual friends and the purchasing of a tv. Valerie had been looking for a tv and found one (Rayce’s) for sale on marketplace. Rayce ended up dropping the tv off at Valerie’s with a mutual friend. One thing led to another and they began talking and spending time together with their mutual friends. They still have the tv and we were even brainstorming ways to incorporate it into their day. The two got engaged in October of 2019. While things didn’t go quite as planned, Rayce was determined and still got down on one knee. With all that happened with COVID, the two were planning on waiting a little while for their wedding, but things seemed to fall into place and they will now be celebrating this October. Congratulations Valerie and Rayce!!
